The Makana 100 is the ultimate throw-and-go kayak. At only 10ft long and weighing in at less than 60 lbs (hull weight), it is the perfect boat for those who are tired of lifting and lugging on heavy sit-on fishing kayaks. Giving you portability without sacrificing usability, it has a fishing-focused design with features such as the protected transducer mount and flush mount rod holders, while keeping things simple and user-friendly.
The Makana 100 was designed around our Select-a-Pod system, which gives you the option to utilize the included pedal drive configuration, or swap it out for our other pedal-driven option with the X-Drive Kit, or our Impulse Drive Kit (depending on your chosen initial configuration). The X-Drive features a fin-style drive system letting you pedal in shallower, weedier waters, while the Impulse Drive allows you to take advantage of instant reverse with its propeller-style design. Both pedal pods and our optional Versa Pod can be swapped with each other without modification, making the Makana the best throw-and-go kayak in our lineup.
